DSP is located near Saldanha Bay and was commissioned in 1999 as a joint venture between DITH and the Industrial Development Cooperation of South Africa (IDC).
The mill produces cold rolled coil, full-hard and galvanised steel for in industry in South Africa and for export to international markets.
Makstil is an electric arc furnace operation near Skopje, Macedonia and is composed of a steel shop and hot rolling mill to produce heavy plates. The business is majority owned and operated by DITH.
We produce hot rolled plates at a thickness range of 5 – 100 mm (130 mm upon request), and up to 3,050 mm in width (3,150 mm upon request). Makstil specialises in achieving fast turnaround times, with no restrictions on quantity nor compromise on quality.
