About Us
Founded in 1995, Acetesa brings over 30 years of experience in the commercialization, warehousing, processing, and distribution of high-quality steel products, with a strong focus on service excellence and continuous improvement.
The company’s main operations are located in Lima, Peru, where its headquarters and primary warehouse are based. In addition, Acetesa operates three branches strategically located in Piura, Arequipa, and Pucallpa.
At Acetesa, we foster a culture grounded in a strong institutional commitment and guided by the principles that inspire our daily work. These core values serve as the foundation for behavior and decision-making, ensuring that all operations are conducted with integrity and sustainability across every level of the organization.
Milestones

1995 – 2002
Acetesa began its operations in the Peruvian market by commercializing corrugated steel sheets. During this period, the company introduced its own brand, “La Tortuga”, inspired by the hardness and resilience of a turtle’s shell.

2013
Duferco Group, the global leader in steel trading headquartered in Lugano, Switzerland, acquired 75% of Acetesa’s shares, marking the beginning of a new stage of expansion and financial strength.

2016
Duferco strengthened its participation by acquiring the remaining 25% of Aceros y Techos S.A., making it a company fully owned by DITH (Duferco International Trading Holding).

2024 - Present
We have integrated socially, environmentally, and economically responsible practices, creating shared value with our stakeholders.
The company achieved significant milestones by obtaining the international certifications ISO 9001 and ISO 45001, ensuring the quality of its processes and the safety of its employees. In addition, Acetesa was recognized by the Ministry of the Environment with the first star of the Carbon Footprint Peru, reaffirming its commitment to responsible environmental management.
As part of its growth strategy, Galpesa S.A.C. was integrated into Acetesa as a branch in the city of Pucallpa, expanding its commercial reach and strengthening the company’s national presence.
