HR Plates

Duferco Commerciale is the exclusive distributor partner in Italy of Makstil, Republic of North Macedonia, which is part of the DITH Group and sells HR plate in over 40 countries.

Makstil plates are produced from EAF and scrap and nowadays under CBAM legislation this represents a relevant add value in view of the low CO2 emission levels which can be monitored on Makstil web site under sections Products6Process – CBAM reports).

In Italy we offer custom-made production of plate in a wide range of qualities and grades (attached Makstil latest brochure) , mainly acc.to En or Astm/Asme , for structural civil construction projects, infrastructure projects such as but not limited to bridges (especially steel equivalent to Cor-Ten and high strength (type S420/460N-NL) , Shipbuilding , Agriculture sector and Pressure vessel.

We, as Duferco Commerciale, supply material on DDP basis and we take care to custom clearance inclusive of CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) compliance requirements .

We are able to produce in Makstil according to customers or contractors specifications and can provide plates in as rolled or normalized rolled delivery condition and on request plates Sandblasted or Sandblasted and Primed . Plates are always supplied in cut edges.

Makstil is approved by all the main international registers and can supply material acc.to "FASCICULE 4 TITRE III: FROM 09.2000" (Nf Acier, attached) , Deutch Bahn (DB, attached) , RFI, PED.

Trading

We are able to propose on a permanent basis HRP imports from different origin and the most relevant producers quality wise , mainly acc.to EN 10025 / S275 and S355, thickness range from 5 to 150mm, in standard commercial dimensions 2/2.5/3 m (or more up to 4/5m) wide x 6-12m long.

Also other standard and higher grades are available for shipbuilding, pressure vessel, construction sector, offshore, pipe manufacturing acc.to EN/ASTM/ASME/API. Higher grades in abrasion and wear resistant steel can be supplied (HB400/450/500…) as well us plates in Q+T (S690).

We cover logistics by vessel to call the main italian ports and we are properly structured in order to offer full service in Italy and take care about discharging, custom clearance inclusive of CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) compliance requirements and subsequence reloading on trucks and transport.
