  • 2001–2020

IPAC became part of the DITH Group and entered a period of accelerated growth and consolidation as a market leader in Ecuador, with a strong export presence in other countries. A modernization phase began with the upgrade of major production lines, the installation of state-of-the-art machinery, automation of processes and controls, and the implementation of Lean methodology to drive continuous improvement. These actions led to reduced costs and waste, improved quality, and increase productivity and efficiency.

A third production plant was inaugurated, bringing the company’s industrial footprint to 80,000 m² with 26 production lines and a total production capacity of 240,000 metric tons per year. 20 distribution centers were settled  in major cities across the country, providing faster, more efficient, and customer-focused service.

  • 2021–Present

IPAC developed new products and entered new market niches, including automotive, white goods, telecommunications, energy, agriculture, and infrastructure. These sectors are served with custom-made, high value-added products under a Just-In-Time (JIT) operational scheme.

Equipment upgrades, process automation, and increased productivity enabled the company to raise its annual production capacity to 280,000 metric tons.

Sustainability was established as a strategic focus, integrating environmental, social, and economic objectives. IPAC achieved Carbon Neutral certification by reducing its emissions through operational improvements, energy efficiency, green logistics, and sustainable practices.

A 2.3 MW photovoltaic plant was installed, allowing the company to replace 40% of its total electricity consumption with renewable energy, significantly lowering carbon emissions and operational costs.
